SUBMACHINE GUN. Cal. 9mm Para. S#L-163. Bbl 8 1/2 " shrouded with standard adjustable post protected front sight. Three position adjustable protected rear sight. The Swedish K submachine gun, often referred to as the Carl Gustaf, was the standard SMG of the Swedish Armed Forces from the mid 1940s to the mid 1960s. It is an effective, blowback operated, open bolt SMG that was so well liked that it spurred the creation of the Smith & Wesson Model 76 SMG years later. Selector located on left side of tube with A&R positions. Folding tube buttstock with smooth walnut two piece grips with black painted numeral 33 on left handle. Visible Swedish acceptance marks on various small parts. MAGS: 1-36 Round. CONDITION: overall very fine custom OD green enamel finish with few scattered light handling marks. Grips have scattered handling marks and some moderate dings. Bore has light frosting with sharp rifling. PROVENANCE: Military Museum Collection of Shooters Outpost, Hooksett NH.
